E-flyers and banners can be designed from scratch for one-off events or festivals, or as part of a bigger marketing strategy. They can complement any print campaign you may have, reflect any pre-existing design concepts, and take into account any branding requirements of your company or sponsors.
Most of my work to date has been for the arts - currently I design e-flyers and banners for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a large international arts venue on London's South Bank - but past clients have also included the United Nations. My banner designs have been used on websites such as The Guardian, Classic FM, Royal Albert Hall, Daily Telegraph, Cadogan Hall, etc.
E-flyers can be fully designed in HTML or just plain text, or both, depending on your e-lists and e-mail sender. When designing I take into account the differences between the various email accounts and readers - e.g. Googlemail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, Outlook Express, Outlook 2007, etc. - so that your email will display correctly in as many of them as possible. Banners can be static, animated gifs, or flash.
